The Steps

  1. Open the Snack Video app on your Android phone and find the video you want to save.
  2. Tap the Share icon at the bottom right of the video (the arrow icon).
  3. From the menu that appears, choose Copy Link. The video link is now copied.
  4. Open Chrome (or another browser), visit this page, and paste the link in the download box above.
  5. Tap the Download button and wait a few seconds until the video thumbnail appears.
  6. Choose MP4 (Server, Fast) for the video without a watermark, MP4 (Direct) to get it straight from Snack Video's server, MP3 for the audio only, or Thumbnail for the cover image.
  7. The video downloads automatically. Done!

Where Do Downloaded Videos Go?

By default, files go into the Download folder in your phone's storage. Most Android phones also show them right away in the Gallery (in the "Download" album). If it doesn't appear in the gallery, open the Files / File Manager app → Download folder — your MP4 is there and can be played or moved from there.

Tips for Android Users

  • Use the latest Chrome so downloads run smoothly and the download notification appears.
  • Storage permission: if a download won't start, check Settings → Apps → Chrome → Permissions and make sure file/media access is on.
  • Light on data: Snack Video clips are usually small (1–5 MB), so this method is gentle on your data plan.
  • MP3 for music: want to save a song from a video? Use the MP3 button, or visit the dedicated Snack Video to MP3 page.
  • No app needed: this method installs nothing on your phone — read why on the Download Snack Video Without an App page.

Common Problems on Android

  • The download button doesn't respond — close other heavy tabs, reload the page, and try again.
  • The file downloaded but won't play — the download was likely cut off halfway; delete the file and download again on a stable connection.
  • There's still a watermark — make sure you pressed this tool's MP4 button after the thumbnail appeared, instead of saving through the Snack Video app's own menu.
  • On iPhone? Read the dedicated Download Snack Video on iPhone guide — the steps differ slightly because they use Safari and the Files app.

Android FAQ

Does this work on every Android phone?

Yes. As long as there is a browser and an internet connection, every brand and modern Android version can use this tool.

Do I need root?

No root and no settings to change. Everything runs in the browser.

Why does the result have no watermark?

Videos saved through the app usually get a logo and username added. This tool takes the video from its source on Snack Video, so your download comes out clean. The full explanation is on the No Watermark page.
